  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 11/2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Cream together the softened butter and 1 cup of sugar in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
  2. Add the applesauce, apple cider, molasses, egg, and vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the gluten-free flour blend, baking soda, spices, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture in three batches until just combined.
  4. Chill the dough for at least two hours in the refrigerator.
  5. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  6. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough, roll them in the remaining sugar, and place on prepared sheets.
