  • 1 lb (450 g) Beef or turkey sausage, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (low sodium)
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • Optional: red pepper flakes for heat

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions; reserve about 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced Beef sausage and brown for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Remove Beef sausage and sauté minced garlic in the same skillet until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  4. Stir in honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and chicken broth. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Return the Beef sausage to the skillet, allowing it to absorb the sauce flavors for another 3-4 minutes.
  6. Add cooked pasta and mix well with the sauce; adjust consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.
