  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: Approximately 12 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 packet instant yeast (2 1/4 tsp)
  • 3/4 cup warm milk
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup strawberry jam
  • Ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix warm milk and yeast; let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. Combine flour, sugar, and salt in another bowl. Add melted butter and egg to the yeast mixture; then mix with dry ingredients until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Place in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise for about 1 hour or until doubled.
  4. For the filling, beat together softened cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, chopped strawberries, and strawberry jam until smooth.
  5. Roll out the risen dough into a rectangle; spread the filling evenly over it.
  6. Mix softened butter with brown sugar and cinnamon; spread over filling.
  7. Roll up tightly from one long side; slice into about 12 pieces and place in a greased baking dish.
  8. Cover and let rise again for about 30 minutes in a warm place.
  9. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake rolls for approximately 25 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Make the glaze by whisking together softened cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and enough milk to reach desired consistency.
  11. Drizzle glaze over slightly cooled rolls before serving.
