Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, blend softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth to create the cheesecake filling.
- Flatten each refrigerated biscuit into a 3-inch circle using your hands or a rolling pin.
- Place 1 tablespoon of strawberry preserves and some cream cheese mixture in the center of each circle. Fold into a half-moon shape and seal edges tightly.
- Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan or deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry donuts seam-side down for about 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown. Use a slotted spoon to remove them from the oil.
- Drain on paper towels and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
