  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a frying pan to 350°F.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, egg, and grated onion until well combined.
  3. Add Jiffy mix, flour, salt, and Old Bay seasoning; mix until just incorporated.
  4. Gently fold in corn kernels and crab meat using a rubber spatula.
  5. Drop batter by tablespoons into the hot oil and fry for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
