Ingredients
- 500g chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional)
- 3 cups cooked white rice
Instructions
- In a bowl, toss the chicken pieces with soy sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil until well-coated.
- Heat a wok or large pan over medium-high heat and cook the marinated chicken for about 5-7 minutes until browned. Remove from pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add garlic, ginger, and sliced peppers; stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Add the cooked chicken back to the pan along with sauce ingredients and stir to coat evenly.
- Serve hot over warm rice and garnish with chopped green onions.
