Ingredients

  • 6 oranges
  • 150 g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 150 g butter
  • 150 g dark chocolate
  • 100 g flour
  • Icing sugar (for dusting)
  • Fresh mint (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C (356 °F). Cut the tops off the oranges and carefully remove the flesh, retaining the peels.
  2. Squeeze juice from the removed flesh into a bowl. Reattach the tops with toothpicks.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together sugar, 5 cl of orange juice, eggs, melted butter, and melted dark chocolate until well combined. Gradually add flour and mix until smooth.
  4. Place hollowed oranges on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Fill each orange three-quarters full with batter.
  5. Bake for about 20 minutes or until set. Let cool slightly before removing toothpicks.
  6. Dust with icing sugar and garnish with mint leaves before serving.
