  • 2 tablespoons milk (if needed for consistency, for frosting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. In a large bowl, cream softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract and cherry juice.
  6. Gradually incorporate dry ingredients and milk alternately until just combined.
