Ingredients
- 2 medium zucchini, sliced lengthwise
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 190C (375F) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Layer zucchini slices evenly in the baking dish, sprinkling dried oregano over them.
- Spread half of the ricotta cheese on top of the zucchini and add half of the marinara sauce. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
- Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25-30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool briefly before serving; garnish with fresh basil.
