- 3 ripe bananas
- 1 cup brown sugar

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9-inch cake pan.
- In one bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract to the butter mixture; mix well. Gradually add dry ingredients, alternating with milk, until smooth.
- Melt remaining butter with brown sugar over medium heat until bubbly; pour into the prepared pan.
- Arrange banana slices over the caramel layer in the pan, then pour the cake batter on top.
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until golden brown and set.
- Allow to cool for 10 minutes before flipping onto a plate.
