Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/4 cups cold unsalted butter, diced
- 5 cups peeled, pitted, and chopped peaches
- 1 cup granulated sugar (for filling)
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour (for filling)
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 6 tbsp heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Add diced butter; mix until crumbly. Reserve one cup for topping.
- In another bowl, mix chopped peaches with sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt until well coated.
- In a baking dish, press half of the crust mixture into the bottom. Pour peach filling on top and drizzle with heavy cream.
- Sprinkle reserved crumb mixture on top and bake for about 60 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool completely before slicing into squares.
