  • ¼ cup fresh lime juice
  • ¼ cup fresh orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Corn or flour tortillas
  • Fresh cilantro (for garnish)
  • Diced onion (for garnish)
  • Lime wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together lime juice, orange juice, olive oil, garlic, cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place steak in a shallow dish or resealable bag and pour the marinade over it. Coat well and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Remove steak from marinade and grill for 5-7 minutes per side until desired doneness.
  5. Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing against the grain into thin strips.
  6. Warm tortillas on the grill and assemble tacos by adding sliced steak and garnishing with cilantro and onions. Serve with lime wedges.
