Ingredients
- 2 lbs flank or skirt steak
- ¼ cup fresh lime juice
- ¼ cup fresh orange juice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Corn or flour tortillas
- Fresh cilantro (for garnish)
- Diced onion (for garnish)
- Lime wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together lime juice, orange juice, olive oil, garlic, cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Place steak in a shallow dish or resealable bag and pour the marinade over it. Coat well and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Remove steak from marinade and grill for 5-7 minutes per side until desired doneness.
- Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing against the grain into thin strips.
- Warm tortillas on the grill and assemble tacos by adding sliced steak and garnishing with cilantro and onions. Serve with lime wedges.
