Ingredients
- 3 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 3/4 cup plain yogurt
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 5 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tablespoon coriander powder
- 1 tablespoon cumin powder
- 2 teaspoons cardamom powder
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 teaspoons sea salt
- 2 teaspoons black pepper
Instructions
- Tenderize the chicken thighs slightly if desired.
- In a bowl or zip bag, combine chicken thighs with yogurt, vinegar, garlic, and spices. Mix well until coated.
- Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours or overnight for best results.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat and grill chicken for 8-10 minutes on each side until cooked through.
- Let rest briefly before slicing and serving in pita bread or over rice.
