- 1 cup granulated sugar

- 1½ cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a loaf pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large bowl or mixer, combine egg, milk, and oil until blended.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips (reserve some for topping).
- Pour batter into the pan and sprinkle with reserved chocolate chips.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool for about 10 minutes before slicing.
