- 1 cup crushed chocolate cookies
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup cream cheese or Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup sugar or natural sweetener
- 1/2 cup melted dark chocolate
- 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
- 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
Instructions
- Prepare the base: Mix crushed chocolate cookies with melted butter and press into a springform pan. Chill in the fridge.
- Make the mousse: Whip heavy cream until soft peaks form. Blend cream cheese (or yogurt), sugar, and melted dark chocolate until smooth, then fold in whipped cream. Spread over chilled base and refrigerate for at least one hour.
- Cook the orange glaze: In a saucepan, combine orange juice, honey (or maple syrup), and cornstarch over medium heat until thickened.
- Assemble: Pour cooled glaze over set mousse. Chill for another hour, then garnish with fresh orange slices or zest before serving.
