- 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups flour
- 1 medium banana (mashed)
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, eggs, brown sugar, white sugar, salt, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
- Add the flour and mashed banana to the mixture. Stir until combined.
- Fold in the two cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips gently.
- Grease a 9 x 13 baking pan and spread the brownie batter evenly.
- Sprinkle an additional 1/4 cup of chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
