  • 3 ripe bananas
  • ½ cup butter (melted)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare two 9×5-inch loaf pans with nonstick spray.
  2. In a medium bowl, beat together the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add one egg and vanilla; mix well then stir in flour. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, mash the bananas, then mix in melted butter and sugars until combined. Beat in eggs, sour cream, and vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and baking powder together. Gradually add this to the banana mixture until just combined.
  5. Pour half of the batter into each pan, layer with cream cheese mixture, then top with remaining batter.
  6. Bake for 50-55 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Let cool before slicing.
