- 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese
- 3 ripe bananas
- ½ cup butter (melted)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup sour cream
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare two 9×5-inch loaf pans with nonstick spray.
- In a medium bowl, beat together the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add one egg and vanilla; mix well then stir in flour. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, mash the bananas, then mix in melted butter and sugars until combined. Beat in eggs, sour cream, and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and baking powder together. Gradually add this to the banana mixture until just combined.
- Pour half of the batter into each pan, layer with cream cheese mixture, then top with remaining batter.
- Bake for 50-55 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Let cool before slicing.
