Ingredients
- 1 pack King's Hawaiian Rolls
- 3 large eggs
- 3/4 cup half-and-half (or whole milk)
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 4 tbsp butter
- Powdered sugar (for serving)
- Fresh fruit (for serving)
- Maple syrup (for serving)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and half-and-half until smooth.
- Stir in vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, brown sugar, and salt until well combined.
- Poke holes in the bottom of each roll for better soaking.
- Dip each roll into the custard mixture for about 30 seconds.
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a nonstick skillet over medium-low heat.
- Add soaked rolls to the skillet, cooking until golden brown on both sides (30–60 seconds per side).
- Serve warm with powdered sugar, fresh fruit, and maple syrup.
