  • 1 cup water (for syrup)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tea bags (family size) or 8 regular tea bags
  • 8 cups water (divided)
  • Ice (for serving)
  • Optional: Sliced lemon and additional strawberries for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the strawberry syrup by boiling quartered strawberries with 1 cup of water for 10-15 minutes, then strain and stir in sugar until dissolved.
  2. For the tea, boil half of the water (4 cups), steep tea bags for 5 minutes, then combine with remaining cold water in a pitcher.
  3. Mix cooled strawberry syrup into brewed tea until well combined.
  4. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh strawberries or mint as desired.
