- 1 pint strawberries
- 1 cup water (for syrup)
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tea bags (family size) or 8 regular tea bags
- 8 cups water (divided)
- Ice (for serving)
- Optional: Sliced lemon and additional strawberries for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the strawberry syrup by boiling quartered strawberries with 1 cup of water for 10-15 minutes, then strain and stir in sugar until dissolved.
- For the tea, boil half of the water (4 cups), steep tea bags for 5 minutes, then combine with remaining cold water in a pitcher.
- Mix cooled strawberry syrup into brewed tea until well combined.
- Serve over ice and garnish with fresh strawberries or mint as desired.
