Instructions
- Soften oats by mixing them with warm milk; let sit for 10 minutes.
- Activate yeast by dissolving it in warm water with a tablespoon of honey; wait until bubbly (5-10 minutes).
- Combine softened oats, melted butter, and remaining honey into the yeast mixture.
- Gradually mix in flour, cinnamon, and salt until a shaggy dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise for 1-1.5 hours until doubled.
- Shape into a log, place in greased loaf pan, and let rise again for 30-40 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
