- 1 3/4 cups Warm Water (105-115°F)
- 2 tsp Sugar
- 1 packet Active Dry Yeast (Approx. 2 1/4 tsp)
- 2 cups Bread Flour
- 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 2 tsp Salt
- 6 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 jar Raspberry Preserves
- 2 cups Confectioners' Sugar
- 2–4 tbsp Whole Milk
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine warm water and sugar. Sprinkle yeast on top and let it froth for 5-10 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, blend bread flour, all-purpose flour, and salt. Make a well in the center and add the yeast mixture and olive oil.
- Mix until a dough forms; knead with a stand mixer or by hand until smooth (5-7 minutes).
- Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover with a towel, and let it rise in a warm spot until doubled in size (1-2 hours).
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the dough on a parchment-lined baking sheet, dimpling the surface.
- Bake for 20-22 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool slightly before spreading with raspberry preserves and drizzling with a confectioners' sugar glaze mixed with milk.
