Ingredients
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon corn starch (or tapioca flour)
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce (or tamari)
- 1 inch ginger (grated)
- 3 tablespoons cooking apple vinegar (or broth)
- 1–2 tablespoons sugar
- Oil (sesame or vegetable)
Instructions
- Prepare the sauce by mixing soy sauce, cooking apple vinegar, and sugar in a bowl. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, grated ginger, soy sauce, egg, and corn starch. Knead until well combined.
- Form mixture into 2-inch meatballs. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and cook meatballs until browned on all sides.
- Reduce heat, add prepared sauce to the pan center, cover, and allow meatballs to cook through while stirring occasionally until coated.
