- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup softened butter
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup dark brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 large apples (chopped finely)
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 11×7 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt until combined.
- In another bowl, cream softened butter with both sugars until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract and cinnamon.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and fold in chopped apples.
- Spread the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 25 minutes or until golden brown.
- For the glaze, whisk together maple syrup, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth. Drizzle over warm blondies before serving.
