Ingredients
- 16 ounces heavy cream
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 5 tablespoons fresh lemon juice and zest (about one large lemon)
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine the heavy cream and sugar over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
- Bring the mixture to a boil while stirring constantly. Once boiling, reduce the heat and simmer for 3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let cool for about 10 minutes before stirring in fresh lemon juice and zest.
- Pour into ramekins and cover with plastic wrap. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
