Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 1 black tea bag (or 1 tsp loose-leaf black tea)
- Orange peel from 1/2 orange (reserve some for garnish)
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 tsp brown sugar (or to taste)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup whole milk (or preferred milk)
- Orange peel twist or slice for garnish
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, heat 1 cup of water until it reaches a low boil. Add the orange peel and cinnamon stick, simmering for about 5 minutes to infuse the flavors.
- Strain the infusion into a cup, then add the black tea bag and steep for 3–5 minutes based on your preference.
- While the tea is hot, stir in brown sugar and vanilla extract until fully dissolved.
- In another saucepan, heat the milk without boiling it. Pour it into your brewed tea mixture and froth if desired.
- Garnish with an orange peel twist or slice before serving.
