Ingredients
- 1 lb ripe strawberries
- 4 cups cold water
- Juice from 2 limes
- 1 cup hot water
- 3/4 cup sugar
Instructions
- Prepare the simple syrup by heating 1 cup of hot water and dissolving the sugar in it.
- Wash and chop the strawberries into halves or quarters.
- Blend together cold water, lime juice, strawberries, and the prepared simple syrup until smooth.
- Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher to remove pulp.
- Chill in the refrigerator for about 2 hours before serving.
