  • Total Time: 1 hour 3 minutes
  • Yield: Serves approximately 12 slices 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 packs (16 oz each) strawberries
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 box (14.25 oz) white cake mix
  • 1 pack (3 oz) strawberry jello mix
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 24.3 oz no-bake cheesecake filling

Instructions

  1. Prepare the strawberries by slicing one side of each whole strawberry flat and chopping the rest into small pieces. Mix chopped strawberries with sugar and refrigerate to marinate.
  2. Bake the cake according to package instructions using egg whites. Grease a 9×13 baking dish and pour in the batter, baking at 350°F for about 33 minutes.
  3. While the cake bakes, dissolve the jello mix in boiling water.
  4. Once baked, poke holes in the warm cake with a wooden spoon handle and pour the jello mixture evenly over it. Refrigerate for at least an hour.
  5. Spread the cheesecake filling on top, decorate with sliced strawberries around the edges, and fill the center with marinated strawberries.
