- 1 box (15.25 oz) strawberry cake mix
- 8 tablespoons (1/2 cup) butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- Optional: powdered sugar or pink granulated sugar
- 30 chocolate Hershey’s Kisses, unwrapped
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine strawberry cake mix, melted butter, and egg until smooth.
- Mix in the softened cream cheese until fully incorporated.
- Cover the dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto baking sheets; optionally roll in powdered or pink sugar.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft.
- Let cool for 1–2 minutes before gently pressing a chocolate kiss into each cookie's center.
- Cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
