  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix the sliced strawberries with brown sugar and let them sit for about 10 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, combine oats, flour, remaining brown sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in the melted butter until the mixture resembles wet sand.
  4. Press half of the oat mixture into the bottom of the prepared dish. Evenly layer the strawberry filling on top and sprinkle the remaining crumble mixture over it.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool completely before slicing.
