  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup salted butter (melted)
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 1/2 cups peaches (peeled and sliced)
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (for fruit)
  • 3 tsp cornstarch
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine oats, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and melted butter until crumbly. Press half into a greased 9×9 baking pan.
  3. Layer sliced peaches and strawberries evenly over the crust.
  4. In a small saucepan over medium heat, mix brown sugar, cornstarch, salt, and water until thickened. Stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Pour syrup over the fruit layer and sprinkle remaining crust mixture on top.
  6. Bake for about 35 minutes until golden brown. Optionally, broil for an additional 2–3 minutes for extra crunch.
