Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 3/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tbsp red apple vinegar
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 1 1/4 cup broccoli florets
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 4 cups cooked rice
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, water, red apple vinegar, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, cornstarch mixed with warm water, and red pepper flakes. Set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and cook until translucent. Stir in garlic and ground turkey; cook until browned.
- Add broccoli and carrots to the skillet. Stir until tender-crisp.
- Pour sauce over the turkey mixture; simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Serve over cooked rice and garnish with sliced green onions.
