Ingredients
- 3 slices thick-cut turkey bacon, chopped
- 1 large yellow onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 2 ribs celery, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef steak (cut into 1" cubes)
- 2 skinless boneless chicken thighs (cut into 1" cubes)
- 1 chicken breast (cut into 1" cubes)
- 10 oz can diced tomatoes with chilies
- 3 sprigs fresh thyme
- 1 tsp Creole seasoning
- 1 lb pasta (farfalle or penne)
- 1 cup water
- 1–1/2 cups chicken broth
- 1 (10 oz) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 (10 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 tablespoon browning sauce
Instructions
- In a Dutch oven over medium-high heat, sauté turkey bacon with onion, bell pepper, and celery until soft.
- Stir in garlic and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
- Add beef steak and smoked sausage; brown for about 20–25 minutes.
- Mix in chicken thighs, chicken breast, tomatoes with chilies, thyme, and Creole seasoning; cook for another 15–20 minutes.
- Incorporate water, chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, and browning sauce; simmer for another 20 minutes.
- Stir in dry pasta and bring to a boil; then cover and let sit off heat until noodles are tender.
- Bake in preheated oven at 300°F for one hour before serving.
